After more than ten years of development, the technology center has made great breakthroughs in independent innovation, and currently ranks among the best in China’s industry in terms of software and hardware investment and R&D strength. The development idea of the technology center is to quickly realize the commercialization of R&D results, and then use the benefits obtained from the R&D results to promote the further development of the technology center, establish a virtuous cycle mechanism for R&D work, and form a new product development of “production generation, R&D generation, and reserve generation” system. According to the development concept of “three-in-one” design, trial production and testing, the Group Technology Center consists of three resource centers: design center, engineering center and testing center.
The three centers are respectively engaged in product design and design verification; product trial production, process tooling design and verification; product performance testing and verification. There are 47 professional sections with a complete range of disciplines. There are 868 R&D personnel in the Group Technology Center, more than 96% of whom have a bachelor’s degree or above, including 360 senior talents such as masters, doctors, professors, and academicians, and 642 with intermediate and senior titles.
The LONGWIN locomotive manufacturing system uses the internationally advanced AGV flexible assembly line, adopts the logistics support of “intelligent production” and “JIT production”, and has a unique group assembly function and 100% on-line inspection capability of critical components. The company currently has 27 assembly lines and inspection lines for all types of vehicles, with an annual production capacity of 20 million vehicles of various types.
The company has production workshops for general assembly, stamping and welding, injection molding, painting, wire harnesses, seat cushions, etc. There are more than 200 vehicle parts manufacturers in the world providing supporting services for LONGWIN.
